Unbreakable: FAQ

Who are you?

My name is Grace. I am a nineteen year old photography student living in New York City.

What started Project Unbreakable?

I’ve always been surrounded by survivors of sexual assault. One night in October, I was out with a friend and she chose to share her story with me. Though I…

I’m literally sobbing. This is the most beautiful project I’ve ever seen. This is a side of me I rarely show people, but it is something I find incredibly important. One of my goals in life is to get stricter laws passed at least in the United States if not in other countries against sexual abuse towards children. There is something in me that has always felt some sort of connection to the cause. I was not molested as a child, but I do know people who were. I also know people who have been raped, including a family friend that I consider to be a like a sister. My family is also close to the Bonistall family, whose daughter was raped, set on fire and killed in 2005. The trial is actually restarting today, here is a link for more information http://www.lohud.com/article/20120308/NEWS02/303080057/Judge-warns-Lindsey-Bonistall-defendant-behave-during-retrial?odyssey=mod%7Cnewswell%7Ctext%7CNews%7Cs

Please go to this blog and support. This is a more than worthy cause, and I fully intend to help them how I can. Thank you <3

This blog gives me the strength to continue with my semester project, raising awareness on sexual assalut.

People need to know they are not alone and that someone will be there to help them.

I don’t know where you guys live but if you live in Central Arkansas and have had something like this happen to you here is some important information.
